General Terms

All customers are expected to have EXTENSIVE knowledge of what they are purchasing. I shall not be held responsible for any mistakes or accidents brought on by the customer. If you have any questions about any of the animals available, please look at the care sheets provided on out care sheet page HERE. If you have further questions, please feel free to ask, I'm always more than happy to help and give any and all information needed, as well as point you in the right direction for more information. We all also have a very usefull tool at our disposal (the computer) so PLEASE do extensive online research BEFORE deciding to purchase an animal from us. It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to us that ALL of out animals are provided good care!


Age Requirement: While this is in no way discrimatory against younger keepers, no Reticulated Pythons, Water Monitors or Crocodile Moniotrs will be sold to anyone under the age of 18 years old without parental consent. Which means I must personally speak to a legal guardian, see a visible ID, or have a written permission slip faxed or emailed to me. It is EXTREMELY important to me that ALL the animals I produce and sell be placed in the care of experienced keepers. PLEASE be aware of the care requirements pertaining to the species you are purchasing. Thank You. 

State & Federal Laws: I will not knowingly ship any animals in violation of any State and/or Federal Laws. I expect that anyone wanting to purchase a specific animal will look into their own local and state laws before purchasing.

General Sales: I reserve the right to refuse sales to anyone that I feel is not fit to care for and/or maintain any animals I sell.




Health Guarantee:  All animals are guaranteed to be healthy, feeding and properly sexed unless otherwise agreed upon. All animals are also always represented honestly to the best of my ability. If you are not satisfied with your shipment for any reason we will replace any animal for the cost of the return freight, or refund your money if notified immediately after receipt of the animal. After 24 hours of the shipment’s arrival, we assume no further liabilities.

When you receive your animal please open the shipping box and inspect all animals immediately, if you are unhappy with your purchase I must be notified immediately. Once the animal is in the customers hands, I cannot control what the customer does or the new environment the animal is in, so this is as far as the guarantee runs. All of my animals are guaranteed eating in my care, due to the change of environment I cannot guarantee that any animal will continue to eat on the same routine it was for me. When an animal does not eat, it is not a valid reason for replacement or credit to be given. I am always available to help with any advice on getting the animal to eat, I want you to have success with any animals purchased and will always give my full attention to helping get the animal started for you.

Genetics Guarantee:  All genetics are guaranteed and a signed genetic documentation with a photo ID of the snake will be included with every purchase.

Sexing Policy:  When an animal is sold as a male or female, I offer a 100% guarantee to that effect.  However, you must double check the sex of the animal within 72 hours of arrival.  In the event an animal appears to be the wrong sex, I must be notified within 72 hours. Otherwise, I will consider our transaction complete.  If an animal arrives incorrectly sexed, the animal will be replaced with one of the proper sex or store credit will be issued.




We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Be aware of YOUR State and Federal laws regaurding your purchase.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. 

Most animals will have a $45 shipping fee, or FREE shipping if the order is over $500 (shipping price does not count towards total price) subject to change, based on size of the shipment. We ship through Fed-Ex overnight with most deliveries by 10:30am the following day. Fed Ex Priority Overnight is gauranteed by noon. We ship Monday through Thursday for next day delivery. 

Animals will only be shipped with appropriate shipping temperatures (Overnight low temperatures must be above 40 degrees and daytime high must be below 90) I can still ship on behalf of the customers wishes, but Live Arrival can not be guaranteed when temperatures fall below 40 degrees Fahrenheit/rise above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. I will also make to final decision based on the health and well-being of the animal. If I dont think it is safe to ship, I wont. 
You MUST be there to sign for and accept the package; otherwise the guarantee will be void.

Although I do prefer to ship Monday – Thursday, I try to be as flexible as possible with shipping dates and happy to work out the best shipping date suited for you to accept the package. I am a verified shipper through Fed-Ex Next Day Air. Large animal purchases are usually shipped thru Delta Dash. Delta Dash shipments need to be picked up within 2 hours of their arrival. Please inspect your shipment in front of the carrier representative. If an animal has expired, you must make a claim with the carrier before leaving the airport.

Please note the live arrival guarantee will be VOID if provided with incorrect shipping information. Please provide us with complete shipping information and a time you will be able to accept the package.



Available Payment Methods

Payment must be received in full before shipment or pick up of any and all animals.

Money Orders:  Money orders can be sent but I must receive a tracking number; otherwise the animal or product will continue to be offered for sale until payment is received.

Paypal:  This is a quick and easy way to make a payment on an animal or product. My PayPal email is: Info@VitalExotics.com

Wire Transfers:  This is a direct transfer from account to account. If the order is $5,000.00 or more this may be the best method for payment. Please call for Wire Transfer information.

Personal Check:  Personal checks should be avioded but may be accepted for approved circumstances. I must receive a tracking number if mailing a check and the animal or product will continued to be offered for sale until payment is received and cleared. 

The check must clear before animal is shipped.

Credit Cards:  We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. These payments can be made thru our secure online store, taken in-hand at a show or convention or taken over the phone.  Please do not attempt to email this sensitive information to me.

Gift Certificates: We accept gift certificates created and purchased thru our online store. Gift certificates do not expire, and can be used towards purchase of any items at Vital Exotics unless otherwise noted. You may redeem your gift certificates while purchasing items thru our online store. Just look for the area to enter the gift certificate code. 

Payment Plans:  Depending on the animal or item, payment plans can be done on most orders over $500.00. Payment plans can last up to 90 days unless discussed otherwise. Payments must be made weekly, bi-weekly, or on a monthly basis depending on what is originally agreed upon when setting up the payment plan. Please be sure you intend to purchase the animal before entering into a payment plan. All payments and deposits and the animal being reserved will be forfeited by customer if the customer fails to fullfill the aggangements agreed upon in the payment plan. This includes the time frame of payment plan and payment terms/time frame. Any payment made is non-refundable, but may be credited towards other animals (on a case by case basis) if the customer is unable to fulfill the original commitment. A 30% deposit is required to start a payment plan.

  • Deposits:  If you would like me to hold an animal or item, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required. When holding an animal, I will continue to feed it on its normal routine and continue to take care of it as if it was my own until shipped. 

International Orders
International orders for the time being will be handled through a International Broker. While I do not have a minimum order on international shipments, I do recommend only on orders $3,000.00 or greater to make the shipping worth it. Returns/Refunds Policy

Health Issues: In the event that an animal begins to exhibit signs of a health issue, you must contact me within 24 hours so that I can help you remedy the problem before it is too late. This is very important, and failure to do so will void your guarantee and refund. This is why I STRESS that you have a complete and proper set-up for your animal functioning before your animal arrives, as to make the transition to its new home as easy as possible. 

Expired Animal: In the case of Dead On Arrivals (DOA's) I need to be informed immediately upon receiving the animal. Please call 715-563-1519 to let me know. In the event that an animal needs to be replaced, a photograph of the deceased animal and a letter from an experienced herp veterinarian detailing the illness and/or explaining the cause of death will be required. Do not take it personal if we ask you for proof - this is something we ask of all customers in order to be fair with everyone. Also do not tell me that you do not have the ability to photograph the deceased animal. If you do not have access to a camera or camera phone, you are not in the position to own one of my animals. 

Returns & Replacements: Any live animal being replaced must be returned at your expense before a replacement is sent out. Once it has been determined that your claim is valid, we will reimburse you for shipping and ship out your replacement(s) at our expense. 

If a customer is wanting to cancel an existing order or payment plan that is in effect, unfortunately a complete refund will not be issued. That defeats the entire purpose of setting up the order and holding the animals for the customer (not allowing them to be sold to other potential customers). In this scenario an in-store credit will be issued to the customer for a future purchase. 

Verify your Order Information!  Please be sure the information you enter, especially your shipping address and email address, is entered correctly.  We cannot be held responsible for deliveries made at the wrong address, or animals delivered unexpectedly due to missed shipping/tracking emails.  Take the time to double check what you type - lives very well may depend on it!

A Note About Animal Color:  Depending on many factors such as temperature, environment, stress and the presence of food, the color and/or intensity of the color on most reptiles can change drastically. I try to photograph my animals when they are looking their best, but they don't always cooperate.  Another factor that is impossible to control is that monitor settings vary from computer to computer, so it's literally impossible for me to make each photograph appear the same on everyone's computer monitor. I regretfully cannot offer refunds due to lack or misinterpretation of color.  After shipping, many reptiles will not "look their best" in regards to color, however if you set them up properly, they should regain their beautiful coloration within 24-48 hours. If you receive an animal whose color is not to your satisfaction, you may exchange it for store credit within 3 business days (customer will be responsible for actual shipping costs both ways).  

When Your Animal Arrives:  There is nothing more exciting than opening up a box and finding your new acquisition. Once you have inspected your new animal, set it up in the appropriate sized enclosure and give it fresh water as shipping can sometimes dehydrate them. Try and hold off on handling the animal too much, let it settle in and get used to its new surroundings. After 2-3 days, you should be fine to start offering food; this gives the animal time to adjust to its new home and environment. I do always recommend offering the same food items as I was feeding the animal to get a better response from the animal. Once it has taken a few meals, feel free to offer other items you feel more comfortable with. From this point on, continue to research and learn about your purchase as new information is always becoming available, but dont forget to enjoy your new animal and I'm always available should you have questions.
