Demonstrations in schools and at public gatherings are a wonderful way to expose children and adults who may not have the chance to experience the reality of how fascinating and amazing reptiles actually are. Just being exposed to and interacting with a reptile for a short period of time can change a persons life.

There is nothing better than seeing the fasciniation and awe in a young childs eyes as they view some of our wonderful animals. Showing young children and adults that our animals are living breathing, caring and intelligent creatures really helps them relate and appreciate.

Look at those smiles!

By taking the time to show and educate even one person about the positive aspects of reptile keeping and how they are extremely important to our world as a whole. You may unknowingly be changing an entire families perception on these beautiful creatures.

Fascination!

One happy girl!

Allowing a child to have pets that appropriate for them at young ages (with some help from the parents) teaches great amounts of responsibility and can go a long way in starting your child off in the right direction towards a future of learning and compassion towards our natural world.

There is no doubt that interacting with reptiles makes a huge impression on our youth. Look at the expressions on their faces!

The following photos are coutesy of Jake Klotz and JK Reptiles. For many children, one of the most memorable moments at school may be an educational program like this. If we all do our part to show the younger generations how amazing our animals are, we will be preparing our future to respect and admire these animals the way we do.
